Champions 20

May 19, 2013

Manchester United Champions     After losing the title in the dying moments of last season to ¡§noisy neighbours¡¨ Manchester City, Sir Alex Ferguson was determined to regain the trophy this season. He brought in Robin van Persie who scored a hat-trick against Aston Villa to seal a record 20th championship in fine style. Glory Glory Man United!! And more importantly Thank you Sir Alex Ferguson!

Champions 19

May 22, 2011

A special league title     Winning the 19th league title is a special moment in the Manchester United history. We saw the MU squad round off the campaign with a 4-2 win over Blackpool that means only two points were dropped at home all season. What a magnificient season.

Manchester United finished nine points clear at the Barclays Premier League summit. The players have been great, there is a great work ethic in the team. I think they deserved it because there were a lot of great performances. Although MU had some disappointing games away from home but the home form has been fantastic. MU breaks the record of Liverpool which attained 18 top league titles.

The Manchester United Experience

Early February, 2011

Once a Red Devil Always a Red Devil     First time to pay tribute to Manchester United Official Merchandise Store @ the Venetian, Macau in Year 2011. Disappionted because no season sales at that time, but very happy because I can enter into the players' changing room to take a look. Although it is not allowed to take pictures there, I have taken some from my Nexus One.

After I have left the changing room, I shopped around the store and bought a car seat cover for my car. My car is now decorated as a ManUtd car with MU car seat, MU gear, MU hand brake, MU seat belt, MU head cushion, MU stickers on windscreen (both front and back) and MU Mascot.

HK 2009 East Asian Games

December 6, 2009

2009 EAG Nicole and I go to Kowloon Park Swimming Pool in the evening watching the HK 2009 EAG Swimming Finals. There are 8 gold medals to be awarded today - 200m Backstroke Women Finals Final, 100m Breaststroke Men Finals Final, 100m Freestyle Women Finals Final, 200m Individual Medley Men Finals Final, 50m Breaststroke Women Finals Final, 1500m Freestyle Men Finals Final, 200m Butterfly Women Finals Final and 4 x 200m Freestyle Relay Men Finals Final.

No doubt, we support our HK athletes, WILSON Hannah Jane Arnett and SZE Hang Yu in the 100m Freestyle Women and China athlete, LIU Zige in the 200m Butterfly Women. Although Hannah can't get the gold medal, she swims very hard and get the bronze medal, while the gold goes to LI Zhesi. Also, LIU Zige of China wins the match without any difficulties and she nearly breaks the World Record.

It is noteworthy that all the finals break the Game Records. After the games, we take a picture with the HK2009 EAG Mascots - Dony and Ami.

Manchester Derby

September 20, 2009

Glory Glory ManUtd! I went out to watch the Manchester Derby tonight. Michael Owen scored in the sixth added minute to earn Manchester United a memorable 4-3 victory over Manchester City in a thrilling derby clash at Old Trafford. United had led three times, first through Wayne Rooney and twice through Darren Fletcher headers, but three times City pegged them back through Gareth Barry - set up by Carlos Tevez against his former side - and a stunning brace from Craig Bellamy. But it was Owen who had the final say deep into added time, clipping the ball past Shay Given after being superbly picked out by Ryan Giggs.

Manchester United deserves to win this game. To me, both Ryan Giggs and Darren Fletcher are the Man of the Match.
