Welcome to my Chef Corner
MY PREFERENCE ON DINING & COOKING
First of all, I love Chinese cuisine very much. Chinese cuisine can be simple or it can be sophisticated, but above all else it relies on the freshness of local ingredients combined to create a balance of flavours. That's amazing (like playing magic).....
Personally, I am not picky about food, but I don't eat hot and spicy food (e.g. chilli, curry, strong pepper etc) and smelly food (e.g. stinky tofu, durian, fried chitterlings etc). Being a Cantonese, soup is of importance and that's why I must order soup when dining outside or make one for dinner at home. The other indispensable dish is vegetables.
As many said, everybody has two stomachs - one for normal food and the other for desserts. This is always true to me, because I love desserts very much especially ice-cream and chinese desserts (to name a little, tofu pudding, red and green bean dessert, dried beancurd and ginkgo nuts dessert, longan coconut nata ice).
Besides eating, I like cooking myself, but mainly Chinese cuisine with spaghetti, steak, noodles and udon sometimes.
This corner is established to share my experience of cooking and provide the relevant recipe as a reference (see the menu on the left). Also, I provide herewith some of the web link of my favourite restaurants as your choice in case you are puzzled with dining outside.
